Stop Complaining and Start Acting
Advocate for Christ, like Charlie did.
At this point, everyone is aware of the horrific assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. His murder is not just a tragedy but a wake-up call. I count myself among those who not only wanted, but desperately needed, this call to set me straight and pull me off the sidelines. The time has come to stop standing by while hell breaks loose in our country and instead to fight for what truly matters, not just to me, but also to Charlie, and that is Christ Our King.
For too long, the Christian foundations of America have been eroding under the weight of secularism, relativism, and cowardice. In the wake of this chaos, it is time to dig deep, resurface those foundations, and build anew toward the heavenly reality we are called to pursue. That work begins here and now. Charlie knew it, lived it, and gave his life in the fight for it.
Catholics, in particular, have been far too timid for far too long. We have hidden our light under a bushel while our culture has spiraled into decay. We can NO LONGER be spectators while our country is RIPPED from Christ’s hands.
The time for timidity is OVER. The time to compromise with this culture of death is OVER. The time for the mission is NOW. The time for the next generation is NOW.
If Charlie Kirk’s life can teach us anything, it is that the time is now for Christians to rise up, not with hatred or vengeance, but with clarity, courage, and faith. Catholics stopped fighting for the faith in America, and now we stand in the aftermath.
We must fight for America, and fight for our Catholic principles, even to the very end. We must begin to advocate for our faith PUBLICLY and UNASHAMED, because regardless, they will kill us in the name of Christ if they get the chance, and that cannot stop us. Christ said, “Do not be afraid, I am with you always,” and we must internalize that and fight for him.
But first, we cannot neglect the most important part of our response as Christians, which is to pray and commend to God the souls of his servants departed.
Eternal rest grant unto your servant Charlie, O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon him.
Go with God, Charlie 🕊️
